Book-keeping & Irish Taxation
Course Aim:
This course will provide information, skills and templates on the basics of bookkeeping for a small – medium sized business which will allow owners/book-keepers to record transactions and maintain records that are legally required by Irish Revenue.
The aim of this training course is to provide clients with the necessary skills and knowledge which will enable trainees to manage their own suppliers, customers, produce sales invoices and credit notes and allow each client process various reports at month end including VAT Returns monthly statements etc.
On the course we will look at the various Irish Taxes and Levies including PAYE, VAT, Preliminary Tax and Income Tax, we will also look at Sole Trader versus Company
This course is ideally suited to any small to medium sized business in retail, service and the manufacturing industry.
Client Profile:
It is important that each client have basic understanding of invoices, bank statements and a cheque book
Ideally each client would have some basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel but it is not essential, access to a computer system with internet access would be recommended to maximise learning post training.
