Course Aim:

The International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) (Formally ECDL) is the most widely recognised all-round computer certification in the world, and Island Training Technologies provides training for you to join the millions of people to achieve this respected accreditation.

Course Description:

The  ICDL standard covers basic computer skills and the use of common applications in the workplace, the home and in society in general.  It is divided into seven modules, 4 base modules and any 3 modules from the standard category.

The tests in these modules do not have to be taken in any specific order.  When a candidate registers on an ICDL programme, they receive a Skills Card on which their progress through the seven tests is recorded.  When all seven modules are completed, the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) is awarded.

Client Profile:

It is important that each client has previous experience and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows or Apple Mac systems.

We would suggest clients complete the basic introduction to computers prior ro attending this training course.

Base Modules – Computer Essential, Online Essentials,  Word Processing, Spreadsheets

Any 3x Standard Modules – Using Databases, Presentation, Online Collaboration, IT Security, Image Editing
